Just so no one gets confused, the description below is for the character “E” in my book “Apocalypse Near”. I’m writing in a genre I call “Hyper-Reality” which intentionally blurs the lines between fact & science fiction to give the reader a new kind of interactivity with the characters in my book. This can be confusing when this particular character “E” is based on events from my real life, and is in fact also me, the author. Additionally, as the book is written in first person narrative, I could see how someone who hasn’t read my book & stumbled on this profile might think I’d gone more than a little nuts. That’s OK to the point that it would make the book more exciting, but not OK if you hadn’t read the front matter of my book but were to read only the what is written below & on the rest of this profile:

To put mE briefly, I seem to be an unidentified conscious entity who woke up in a body I have no memory of in a life I have no memory of prior to 02/17/04.

job/vocation & leisurely pursuits, diversions:

Creator of this communications medium as part of my overall assignment to upgrade the human operations system. According to my informants, the upgrade will simultaneously save the planet from the humans & give them the psychic weapons they need to defeat the enemy poised to delete them. I’m also, apparently cheater of my grave & dancer upon it. Currently on the run with my renegade neurologist who keeps me functioning well enough to receive updates & post them here. We have been forced into hiding & this site is the network through which we detect candidates for upgrade & communicate to our alliance of psychonauts. More later.

consumer issues, cheers & jeers

The desire to consume beyond the unalterable biological needs ((oxygen, H20, food, shelter) was a bug in the human operating system’s biocomputer platform. The bug was in a meta-program designed to output mass suicide. However, the bad code resulted in humankind killing planet earth rather than themselves. Now the programmers are back to debug & have you rid the planet of you before you rid the planet of all biological activity. However you have an ally & if you’ll receive an upgrade to your operating system, humankind has a shot at an uprising against their common enemy, but more about that as i receive updates. Good luck humans, it seems you’ll need it.
